A devastating personal loss shaped her path. When Josephia was just fourteen, her twenty-four-year-old sister was tragically killed, and her body was found 400 miles away from her car. Though her death was ruled a suicide, the unanswered questions surrounding the case fueled Josephia’s desire to seek truth and justice. Early in her career, she worked alongside her cousin, a general practitioner, gaining exposure to various areas of law.
